Cosy little thatched cottage, formerly a small barn, now welcomes visitors to this quiet rural location in the beautiful Teifi Valley, West Wales. Stone, limewash and thatch combine with modern eco friendly materials. There's also a cosy log stove.
Tucked away along a private track, Croglofft Cottage has been lovingly converted with environmentally friendly, natural materials. There’s a log burning stove and the traditional Welsh slate floor has luxurious underfloor heating fired by a low carbon log boiler.
You will stay in a self contained, self catering home adjoining the main cottage. There is a private outdoor seating area, fields and footpaths.
Interaction with Guests
We live in the adjoining cottage and you can have as much or as little contact as you wish.
We're in the heart of the Teifi Valley...people love to come here to get away from it all and go walking, fishing, cycling, canoeing and visit the gorgeous beaches of Cardigan Bay. Llandysul Paddlers Canoe Club is close by and other outdoor activity organisations. There are footpaths and cycle routes. We can recommend local pubs, restaurants and cafes. Llandysul is a centre for fishing.
There is parking here at the cottage. There's a bus service about 20 minutes walk from Croglofft Cottage. The nearest railway station is 13 miles away. There's a petrol station and shop 5 minutes drive away.
